Bylaws
Article I: Purpose
The purpose of this organization is to promote service, patriotism, and community involvement. We support veterans, active-duty military personnel, their families, and our local communities through programs, advocacy, and volunteer efforts.
Article II: Membership
- Membership is open to individuals who meet eligibility requirements as outlined by the national guidelines.
- All membership applications are subject to review and approval by the leadership of the organization.
Article III: Officers
Officers shall be elected annually and may include roles such as President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and others as determined by the organization. Officers are responsible for overseeing operations and ensuring the organization fulfills its mission.
Article IV: Meetings
Regular meetings will be held on a recurring basis to conduct official business, share updates, and plan events. A quorum, defined by internal rules, must be present to vote on matters requiring approval.
Article V: Committees
The organization may form standing or temporary committees to manage specific programs or initiatives. Committee members are appointed by leadership and report progress to the general membership.
Article VI: Finances
All financial transactions and records shall be maintained with transparency. A Treasurer will provide regular reports, and an annual financial review or audit may be conducted as needed.
Article VII: Amendments
These bylaws may be amended by a majority vote during a scheduled meeting, provided prior notice of the proposed changes has been given to all members.
